Sai Vaatsalya 2023

It has been the loving practice of Bhagawan every new year day (January 1st) to visit and bless infants born on the New Year's Day in various government hospitals. This New Year's Day, January 1st 2023, was no different! Swami visited and blessed 30 new borns, across various government hospitals in Visakhapatnam area, and gifted them with handy, healthy and safe Baby kits to enable parents to take care of their newborns. Indeed, it is a great fortune for these Divine souls to have a Divine Welcome from the Lord.

RO Drinking Water Plant In Sri Sai Palle

As a part of 'Sri Sathya Sai Divya Jalam', Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare is setting up RO Water plants to provide relief to rural needy villages that do not have regular access to potable water.

Today, on the occasion of New year's day, a RO water plant was inaugurated in Sri Sai Palle in S.Kota mandal in Vizianagaram, the adopted village of the trust. This RO water plant will help provide drinking water to the surrounding areas of the free-of-cost cancer treatment facility Sri Sathya Sai Divyaamritam.

Bhagawan Baba's New Year Message

January 1, 2023

"God's Grace is like the shower of rain and the sunlight. You have to do some Sadhana (spiritual practice) to acquire it - the Sadhana of keeping a pot upright to receive the rain, the Sadhana of opening the door of your heart, so that the Sun may illumine it. Like the music that is broadcast over the radio, it is all around you but you must switch on your receiver and tune the identical wave-length so that you can hear it and enjoy it. Pray for Grace; do at least this little Sadhana. Grace will set everything right. Its main consequence is Atma Sakshatkara (Self-realisation) but there are other incidental benefits too, like a happy contented life, and a cool courageous temper established in unruffled Shanti (peace).

The main benefit of a jewel is personal joy but when one has come to the last coin in the purse, one can sell it and start life again! That is an incidental advantage. The plantain tree has the bunch of fruits as its main gift but the leaves, the soft core of the trunk and the flower bud are subsidiary items that can also be put to profitable use. RO Plant For The Needy Village Of Ganivada

Bhagawan Baba, out of His Love for the rural populace that do not have a regular access to drinking water, inaugurated a RO Plant in

the village of Ganivada in L.Kota mandal in Vizianagaram, under the umbrella of Sri Sathya Sai Divya Jalam.

With this inauguration that happened as a part of the 97th Birthday Celebrations of Bhagawan Baba in November, the villagers are now able to get access to free-of-cost pure drinking water right at their village daily.

Phase 2: Blanket Distribution Drive

December 25, 2022

As a part of the ongoing blanket distribution drive to provide blankets to the needy and underprivileged to help them overcome the ongoing chill winter, the second phase of the blanket drive was conducted by Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare in the tribal area of KothaMalisingaram in Araku valley near Vizianagaram, benefitting 360 families. The first phase of the blanket drive earlier took place in the tribal area in S. Kota mandal in Vizianagaram that had benefitted 500 families. Overall, over 2000 families will be reached out to during the entire drive.

The birthday of every great person is celebrated by those who adore and follow him. In the Bible, it is said that God seeks His own. Ponder over this. God is every where at all times. He need not be sought anywhere, any time. But, God has to seek those who seek Him and struggle to become aware of Him. Whom does God seek? He looks for a sincere, genuine, selfless, and steady devotee. Besides, He seeks an ideal son who can be held before mankind as an example and an inspiration. Such persons have become extremely rare nowadays. So, I say,I am searching, I am searching, still searching. I searched in the past, I search, and search now, for the man knowing and observing his Dharma true.

Phase 1: Blanket Drive

To help the needy beat the chill winter, Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare has started a drive to provide blankets amongst the needy and underprivileged. Over 2000 blankets will be distributed as a part of this drive.

The first phase of the blanket drive took place in the tribal area in S. Kota mandal in Vizianagaram. The honorable MLC of the area took a leading part in the distribution programme.

23rd Nov Evening Proceedings

The wondrous morning proceedings of Bhagawan Baba's Birthday including the glorious inauguration of the OPD Block of Sri Sathya Sai Divyaamritam, the free-of-cost cancer facility, kept everyone in bliss. It was time for the evening session where Swami Vasudevananda enthralled the audience with a humour-filled talk that distributed spiritual treasure, by the topic 'Key to Liberation'. The cheerful session was then succeeded by a musical programme by Smt. Madhavi Krishna and team. The All India Radio artist, who also performs often at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams sang songs like Bhagawan Puttina Pandiga, Jagamele Paramatma Sai Janma Janma bandham ide Sai, Madhura Mohana Sundara Sai that touched everyone's hearts.

International Day Of Persons With Disability

23rd Morning Proceedings And Inauguration Of OPD Block

The glorious 97th Birthday arrived. Devotees were waiting for this most blissful occasion to celebrate their Divine Mother's Birthday. The Lord's beautifully decorated Car arrived in swiftly at Sri Sathya Sai Divyaamritam premises. Swami blessed all with an initial glimpse to His Children as devotees had arrived from all corners of the country as well as from abroad, from Far East and West with the hope of experiencing His Love that they feel they had missed out in their earlier part of life. These are the ones who seemed to have cursed themselves for having not been to Puttaparthi in those years when Swami moved amidst everyone, in less than 3 ft distance from the devotees, doling out beautiful enchanting darshans for all with His Majestic grandeur.

As the evening approached, the local area's MLC, MLA, the District Collector, and the RDO local Panchayat administrators all trickled in one by one for the Bhoomi Pooja which would be graced by the presence of Honourable Minister of Education of Andhra Pradesh, Sri Botcha Satyanarayana. The Hon. Minister of Education of Andhra Pradesh arrived and did not leave a minute of his time under-utilised, for he scented the Divine presence in abundance. With great respect for the selfless cause of free treatment of Cancer patients he looked in all directions admiring the progress of the divine project. These massive projects, that are an offshoot of Swami's Love, would have been undreamt of by the people in the region.

Sai Swayampaka Seva

Sai Swayampaka Seva is an initiative to support needy families and motivate them to seek improved livelihood. Under this initiative, the trust supports them with monthly groceries to enable them to cook good quality food as per their convenience and desired quantity. This makes the needy families overcome the need to reach out daily for food, and instead helps them plan a livelihood now that they are assured of food grains for a month.

The first rays of the morning sun seemed to kiss the divine land of Sri Sathya Sai Divyaamritam at Sri Sai Palle. With the 97th Birthday of Bhagawan just a day away, the place was abuzz with activity and smiles.

The day started with the auspicious Ganapathi homam. Lord Ganesha, in the form of a beautiful wooden vigraham, brought joy to the devotees. This was followed by Dhanvantari homam. Lord Dhanvantari, the divine doctor of Vaikunta, was paid obeisances in the form of the homam to help restore health for all patients visiting Sri Sathya Sai Divyaamritam (cancer hospital).

Post these two homams, a mandala abhishekam was performed to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha at the recently inaugurated Prahalada Varada Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in the precincts of Sri Sathya Sai Divyaamritam. The Mandala Pooja has been performed for 41 days at this Holy Narasimha Kshetram of Prahalada Varada Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple.

The 97th Birthday Celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba began, on November 18th, with the auspicious Sathya Narayana Swami vratham and the traditional Rathotsavam. The beautiful ratham (chariot), carrying the Divine Altar of Bhagawan Baba, was taken in a procession in Sri Sai Palle. The day's proceedings also had divine bhajans sung. The morning's programme concluded with Divya Prasadam (lunch) served to all the devotees gathered to celebrate the Lord's Birthday.

As the OPD Block of the free-of-cost cancer treatment hospital Sri Sathya Sai Divyaamritam will be inaugurated on November 23rd, we had the Mass Chanting of the most auspicious Sri Narasimha Mantra all day from 10AM to 5PM in Divyaamritam premises.

Lord Narasimha, in the beautiful temple of Prahalada Varada Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swami temple that was recently inaugurated on Vijayadasami day, adorned a special alankaram. Divya Prasadam (lunch) was served to all.

The team of volunteers of Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare was informed of a fire accident in an area near Vizianagaram that affected 3 houses. The affected families, who are needy and dependent on daily wages, lost their belongings to the fire accident.

In its constant efforts to make education more accessible to children especially in the rural hinterland, Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare has been reaching out to support 11,000+ rural government school children in various districts in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana through a Notebook Drive, where each student will be gifted with 4 high quality crown size notebooks to support their educational cause. It has often been noted that the parents of most of the rural government school students depend on daily wages. Thus, this drive will be highly beneficial to the beneficiary students in supporting their education.

Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare, as a part of an initiative powered by its education wing, has set about to touch the lives of 11,000+ rural government school children in various districts in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana through the Notebook Drive, where each student will be gifted with 4 high quality crown size notebooks to support their educational cause. As the parents of most of these students are dependent on daily wages, they are often unable to support educational investments like books for their children.
