These rituals set the spiritual stage for the auspicious *Abhijith Lagnam Muhurtham*, the propitious time for the Kalyana Mahotsavam, or divine wedding ceremony. During this time, it is believed that all celestial gods and goddesses descended to Bhooloka, the earthly realm, to witness the grand wedding at Sri Sai Palle.
