The 18th medical camp of the envisioned 100 weekly medical camps being conducted under the umbrella of ‘Sai Aarogya was held in Vemulapalli in S.Kota mandal in Vizianagaram district on 10th April 2024. The medical camps are enabled by state-of-the-art medical van with advanced screening facilities, supported by our esteemed CSR partner GIC Housing Finance Ltd.
In this camp, 375 people benefited with medical screenings and other procedures, of whom, 109 consulted the general physician. While 26 women used the services of the gynecologist, 28 patients consulted the dentist. 31 used Advanced consultations like oncology. 86 were screened for ophthalmology, where 15 will be provided with Spectacles and 10 were referred for surgery. This apart, there were 1 dental filling , 1 dental extraction and 1 dental scaling conducted. There was 1 consultation attended to by the ENT specialist and another by the pediatrician. 93 people consulted the orthopaedic. Medicines prescribed were provided free of cost to the beneficiaries.
