The 16th medical camp of the envisioned 100 weekly medical camps being conducted under the umbrella of 'Sai Aarogya was held in Veduravaada and Kondapeta tribal villages in Bondapalli mandal in Vizianagaram district on 30th March 2024. The medical camps are enabled by state-of-the-art medical van with advanced screening facilities, supported by our esteemed CSR partner GIC Housing Finance Ltd.

 

In this camp, 422 people benefited with medical screenings and other procedures, of whom, 111 consulted the general physician. While 44 women used the services of the gynecologist, 54 patients consulted the dentist. 43 used Advanced consultations like oncology. 72 were screened for ophthalmology, where 11 will be provided with Spectacles and 4 were referred for surgery. This apart, there were 13 dental fillings , 5 dental extractions and 13 dental scalings conducted. There were 3 consultations attended to by the ENT specialist and 20 by the pediatrician. Medicines prescribed were provided free of cost to the beneficiaries.
