Although among the most critical needs for all of us, safe drinking water is not easily available to a large part of the rural population. The ground water in many of these areas is not safe, thus needing treatment before being consumed for human use.

 

On the important occasion of World Water Day, Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare, under the initiative of Sri Sathya Sai Divya Jalam, contributed a safe drinking RO water plant to one more village. This water plant, situated in the village of Korlam in Gantyada mandal also helps connect 6 villages closeby.

 

This joyous event also featured Vedam and Bhajans, which filled the village with vibrations, bringing a sense of festivity. The villagers expressed their gratitude for the drinking RO water plant. It is to be noted that the trust, under the divine inspiration of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, has taken up the task of providing a new water plant every month in different needy villages.
