God works through a doctor full of love

Doctors are, really speaking, the most important class of Sevaks, under present conditions. Theirs is indeed a noble calling. When Seva is rendered with love, intelligence, and earnestness, it leads persons nearer and nearer to Divinity, for it draws unto itself the Grace of God. This is the reason why the scriptures elevate the Vaidya (doctor) to the status of God. "Vaidyo Narayano Harih" (The doctor is Naaraayana (God), He is Hari.) He is Hari, the remover or destroyer, since he destroys hurdle on the path of man to Sadhana (spiritual discipline). If the doctor is full of love and compassion, God works through him. The doctor is no longer he, but it is Narayana who manipulates his fingers and dispenses through him.

Inauguration Of Second Free-Of-Cost Dialysis Center

The mission of free-of-cost high quality healthcare by Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare accelerated further with the inauguration of its second free-of-cost kidney dialysis center, Sai Soukhyam, in Kuchipudi near Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh. This inauguration has taken place in less than 2 months after the inauguration of the first free-of-cost dialysis center at Hyderabad. The dialysis center was formed in collaboration with RaviPrakash Silicon Andhra Sanjivani hospital at Kuchipudi.

June Month Report - Sai Soukhyam

About 101 free-of-cost dialysis procedures were performed in about 26 working days in June at our Center in Uppal in Hyderabad. Already, in the first month of its operations, after its launch on 6th May 2023, 83 dialysis procedures had been successfully conducted.

Sai Soukhyam - First Month Report

With a drive to bring Desktops to rural schools and an e-library, the trust has been working towards bridging the rural digital gap. Further, the education wing is running an active scholarship programme (Project ESES) that has already benefitted over a hundred needy students. There has also been other important educational schemes running throughout the year such including the Notebook Drive that has reached to thousands of children.

This year, due to increasing need, the Notebook Drive will scale up to reach about 20,000 needy students across the twin states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in over 7 mandals, distributing over 80,000 notebooks.

The devotees, camping in the picturesque resort at Araku Valley, woke up to a day that would be dedicated to the worship of the Divine Mother! The morning activity started at 5:15 AM with Omkaram, Suprabhatam and Nagara Sankeerthan. Being a Friday, the devotees paid their obeisance to Mother Durga in the form of Durga Pooja. Swami took active part and led the Pooja Himself. The ladies then took to singing bhajans glorifying the Divine Mother.

The fortunate got upto the Mangala Nadaswaram even before the Sun rise in the dawn hours- The Sandhya Samayam on this Tuesday. Waking up their Lord singing Suprabhatam was a thrill by itself for it was neither at their homes nor elsewhere but standing right in front of their Lords’ Abode in the Eco-Tourism village. The Nagar Sankirtan started before the Sun rose from behind the Hills and ended walking through the silent Valley with hardly any one seen in the surrounding area. However, their faces wore more smiles with few more arriving and joining the celebrations that morning!
