Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare is very grateful to the honourable district collector of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district Smt. Pamela Satpathy IAS, additional collector Sri Deepak Tiwari IAS, the Executive Director cum CEO of AIIMS Bibinagar Sri Vikas Bhatia, Deputy Director (Administration) Col. SP Anantarao for their unflinching support to help us conduct a mega medical camp at Raghunathpur in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district in Telangana.

 

The medical camp benefitted 190 needy people, of which 118 were females. The medical camp had 4 specialities such as General, Gynaecology, Dental, and Ophthalmology. 11 patients have been recommended for cataract surgeries, for which Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare will coordinate follow up . 26 were recommended to wear spectacles, and the trust will be ensuring to provide the needy patients free of cost spectacles as prescribed. We also referred 2 others for further treatment at AIIMS - one girl child for pediatric care and another person for a surgery.

 

Most importantly, we had the solid support of doctors from the prestigious and dedicated teams from AIIMS Bibinagar and District Medical & Health Organization (DMHO) in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri. We are very grateful to the doctors from AIIMS, Dr Nabnita Patnaik, Additional Professor and HOD Department of OBG, Dr. Poojitha and Dr Santhoshi. We also express our heartfelt gratitude to the doctors from DMHO Dr Rajender, Dr Bharath and their Pharmacist, along with the 5 ANM Staff. We also thank our doctors Dr Srinivas Murthy and Dr ChandraSekhar as well as the ophthalmologist specialist Dr. Anitha from Lions Club for their full-fledged support in the camp.

 

All these doctors, despite their busy schedule, supported the medical camp at short notice, and thereby have provided succour to 190 patients. We believe the medical camp would have made a difference to not only the patients' lives but also their families.
