Divine visit to Rakshanagiri & Adoration Monestry

Tuesday, the 31st March stands recorded as yet another ‘day of dedication to humanity for the universal welfare’ in the calendar of Sri Sathya Sai Divyaamritam. The day was earmarked for serving a group of Nuns and Fathers, some of them 90 years old, who have dedicated themselves to prayers for the welfare of the world away from the hustle and bustle of the society that we all live in.

A place of sight seeing, the statue of sacred Heart of Jesus was erected here almost hundred years back. Later the same was converted into a marvellous hill of salvation. Thus ‘Rakshanagiri’came into existence where people visit the shrine for spiritual nourishment and sisters pray round the clock for the welfare of the entire world.

The team from Sri Sathya Sai Divyaamritam accompanying our beloved Swami was privileged to meet the sisters, in very unusual and special way. Selfless Love and service for the welfare of the world is the only and the common factor that enabled the meeting. Groceries were handed over to them and their faces bloomed with inexplicable Divine expressions of gratitude.

Earlier, the team was also invited by the adjoining 68 year old St.Joseph’s college, the first women’s college of South India. Dr.Jayalakshmi, HOD of Second Languages, who taught her dearest student, Divyaamrita Swami, lessons in his childhood turned nostalgic claiming him to be like her third son. What more appreciation can any student expect! The environment is so sacred and calmness prevailed in the surrounding atmosphere though situate very near to the busiest seaport and the Railway zone. The staff showered pure love with their very warm Hospitality.

Both the sides enjoyed sharing nostalgic moments and memories and thanked Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba for bringing them together. The Divine Hand was clearly seen in as much few others also joined that made the occasion even more sweeter and memorable.
