Sai Aarogya- Free Rural Medical Services - Camp 17

On April 5th, Sri Sathya Sai Trust For Universal Welfare under the umbrella of Sai Aarogya (Free Rural Medical Services) conducted its 17th medical camp of the series of 100 medical camps in 100 weeks. The medical camp was held in Kapusompuram (1&2) villages in S.Kota mandal. The medical camps are enabled by state-of-the-art medical van with advanced screening facilities, supported by our esteemed CSR partner GIC Housing Finance Ltd.
 
In this camp, 288 people benefited with medical screenings and other procedures, of whom, 96 consulted the general physician. While 17 women used the services of the gynecologist, 47 patients consulted the dentist. 19 used Advanced consultations like oncology. 29 were screened for ophthalmology, where 3 were referred for cataract surgery and 13 were prescribed spectacles. This apart, there were 10 dental filings and 11 dental scalings conducted. About 39 used the services of the orthopaedic. There were 41 consultations attended to by the paediatrician.
 
Medicines prescribed were provided free of cost to the beneficiaries.
